For founders, the early days of a startup can be a whirlwind. You're focused on building your core product or service, hustling for funding, and establishing your company in the market. But as your business evolves, those initial conversations about who you are and what you do can start to taper off.
Regular founder check-ins are critical to ensure you are all still on the same page, that you all still know who you are and what you do.

What to talk about: Product or service offering
Help keep your product/service description, messaging, and overall presentation aligned with your growing startup:
Product/service evolution: Has your original vision or core offering changed? Have new features or functionalities been added? Discuss how these changes affect your overall value proposition and future plans
Target customer shift: Are you now attracting a different customer base than you initially planned? Are their needs and pain points different? Check if your ideal customer profile and core offering are still a match
Consistent communication: Are your website, pitch deck, marketing materials, and sales conversations all telling the same story? As your business evolves, some functions or comms can get left behind. Founder check-ins are a good opportunity to review these assets and make sure they all reflect the current position
Product/service founder check-ins are about making sure your value proposition, and communication strategy are aligned with your startup's evolution. Everyone being on the same page, heading towards the same goals with the same information puts your business in a great position for reaching your goals.
